PATIENT ADVOCACY

Core Values of Fajr Center

"Health services must be provided to all people caring for human dignity, values and beliefs regardless of any kind of discrimination."

The Patient Rights Charter is designed to protect and support human dignity, preserve physical and emotional boundaries, and ensure patient-centric choices during the therapeutic process.

At Fajr Medical and Therapeutic Center, we ensure that every individual receives clinical attention promptly, transparently, and safely. Our rights paradigm focuses heavily on self-determination, file access, absolute confidentiality, and access to fair legal procedures for medical compensation or dispute resolution.

Whether seeking inpatient surgery, emergency treatment, or chronic disease management (such as diabetes care), this charter stands as our binding covenant with you.

RIGHTS FRAMEWORK

The 5 Pillars of Our Clinical Promise

01

Right to Quality, Fast & Dignified Care

Every patient has a fundamental right to receive the highest quality of healthcare services, delivered immediately and without bias.

  • Non-Discrimination: Services are offered regardless of ethnicity, culture, religion, gender, or nature of illness.
  • Speed of Care: Health services must be provided as fast as possible, respecting patient time limitations.
  • Emergency Priority: Quality care is assured instantly in emergency cases, completely regardless of cost.
  • Transfer Protocol: If local treatment is unavailable, patients are transferred to another facility immediately after receiving first-stage emergency care.
02

Right to Comprehensive Information

Information is the foundation of patient safety. All communication must be timely, sufficient, and fully understandable.

  • Clinical Transparency: Active education about the diagnosis, prognosis, and medical options.
  • Tailored Education: Communication must regard patient characteristics, education level, language, pain, and stress levels.
  • Access to Case Files: Patients can access all elements of their clinical files, request error corrections, or request a complete copy.
  • Admission Clarity: Clear guidelines regarding costs, insurances, supporting systems, and non-therapeutic services before admission.
03

Right to Self-Determination & Choice

Every patient possesses complete autonomy to make voluntary decisions regarding their treatment plan.

  • Free Decisions: Complete freedom to make medical choices without external pressure or force.
  • Selection Rights: Choice over which specialist physician and clinic provides their clinical services, under legal frameworks.
  • Second Opinion: Inalienable right to request consultation or a formal second opinion from another physician.
  • Time to Decide: Receiving sufficient time and information before being requested to make any major medical decisions.
04

Right to Privacy & Confidentiality

Patient privacy is sacred. All patient data, physical spaces, and treatment procedures must be securely guarded.

  • Absolute Confidentiality: All clinical records and medical history are kept strictly confidential unless explicitly authorized by law.
  • Controlled Access: Clinical files can only be accessed by the patient, the direct treating team, and authorized legal entities.
  • Physical Privacy: Provision of appropriate environments to respect and guard modesty during examinations and interventions.
  • Trusted Companion: Right to be accompanied by a chosen family member or advisor during diagnostic examinations and clinical steps.
05

Right to Legal Redress & Compensation

Fajr Hospital protects its patients by supporting open legal systems to resolve grievances and compensate for medical errors swiftly.

  • Lawsuit System Access: If rights are violated during therapeutic care, patients can file a formal grievance via our legal system.
  • Uncompromised Quality: Undergoing a dispute or legal grievance will strictly never degrade or distort the ongoing quality of medical services provided.
  • Informed Process: Right to be fully updated on the progress and administrative development of the filed grievance.
  • Error Compensation: Any certified medical errors committed during diagnostic or treatment stages must be compensated immediately according to national legal standards.
